Sir Paul Nurse, 2015 Friesen Prizewinner, will be visiting the University of Calgary on May 3rd-4th, 2016 and the University of Alberta (Edmonton) on May 5th-6th, 2016 and will meet students, faculty members, academic leaders and government officials. In Calgary, he will deliver a talk entitled, “Science and its Role in Society”.

In Edmonton, he will meet with leaders of Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions and speak at the AIHS-IHE Breakfast Speaker Series.

At the University of Alberta, he will meet with scientists, students and academic leaders and give a talk entitled, “Science and its Role in Society”. He will also participate in a Distinguished Visitor’s Forum to discuss, “Trust in Science”.
