The Advisory Committee is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 2026 Janet Rossant Lectureship.
The application period for nominations is now open and will close on March 1st, 2026.
Award Overview
The Janet Rossant Lectureship was established in 2018 at Massey College in recognition of Dr. Janet Rossant’s distinguished career as a scientist, scholar, builder, and leader in medical research. Her longstanding commitment to the mentorship of young scientists and scholars is reflected in the purpose of this honour. This honorific lectureship attracts accomplished visiting scientists to engage graduate students and faculty as part of the Massey Grand Rounds (MGR) program at Massey College.
Award Details
The award consists of a cash prize of $2,000 CAD, in addition to economy airfare, hotel accommodation, and hospitality costs associated with delivering the lecture and participating in the MGR annual symposia in person. A suitable memento commemorating the honour will also be presented.
Eligibility
Nominations are open to health scientists at the Assistant or Associate Professor level whose work will enliven the intellectual discourse at Massey College.
