7th Annual Gala
Fundraising and Awards Banquet The 7th Annual "Ottawa Evening" will take place on May 11, 2005 at the Ottawa Congress Centre. This is a celebratory dinner to recognize achievements by Members of the lay community for their contributions to health research promotion and funding. The invitation and program will follow. Tickets may be purchased for individuals or for tables of 8 or 10 persons. Dr. Bernard J. Shapiro of the Ethics Commissioner of Canada is Guest Speaker. Awards will be presented to Mr. Max Keeping, VP, News and Public Affairs, CJOH-CTV (lay category), and Dr. Leo P. Renaud, Associate Director, Ottawa Health Research Institute (scientific category).
